Dear Friends:

CE concluded a very successful year with a well-attended friendship luncheon on Sunday, September 20th, 2015. Over 180 guests attended the event.

CE guests arrived around 11:30 to meet CE teachers, browsed through teaching materials and learned about their teaching plans.

Chief Sealth International High School 9th graders Khaim Vassar-Fontenot & Nollen Paltep recited Chinese poem with a rap rhythm really demonstrated what CE’s Chinese Language and Talent competition is about. We would also like to thank University Prep’s 12th Grader Shawn Owen and Chinese Language teacher Pollyanna Wang for sharing their passion and stories volunteering for this great event.

To showcase our Cultural Exploration program, not only did 2015 teachers Camilla Schulte, Dennis Grinder, Andrea Gardner shared their exploration stories, our 2014 teacher, Jeromie Heath came back to showcase the continuing CE journey of connection and inspiration he brought to the classroom.
